The Bride of Frankenstein series examines ideas about feminine identity. What does it take to be “the ideal woman” or “the perfect mate?” The fact that these works are prints, multiples in a series, yet torn apart and stitched together to create completely unique works echoes the theme of piecing together both our outward appearance and our internal identity.
